Sensory processing disorder (SPD) poses difficulties for individuals regardless of age. In essence, SPD relates to how the brain interprets sensory input from the environment. This means that individuals with SPD may experience sensations more intensely than others. Some common symptoms of SPD include: Heightened sensitivity to sounds, lights
